Framed by historic architecture and the Old U.S. Mint, and lined with cafés and restaurants, Mint Plaza offers over 13,000 square feet of open outdoor event space. Located just steps from Mezzanine, Mint Plaza is ideal for those who wish to host joint indoor/outdoor events or tented and open-air events.

Design
A venue unlike any in the Bay Area, our unique Plaza features sleek stone promenades and a dramatic steel arbor with flowering trumpet vines; a native oak tree anchors the eastern entrance, and a grove of Ginkgos sits at the western end. Other key elements include soaring mast lights, orange chairs scattered about, integrated benches, and rain gardens.

Capacities + Uses
Mint Plaza can be broken down into sections depending on your needs; capacities range from 75 to 1,100. The Plaza is available for a wide range of events, including:
